Research Cooperation with Ford

The Center for Automotive Catalytic Systems and Ford Motor Company have started a joint research project concerning the development of nitric oxide storage catalysts.

Since September of this year ACA realizes a research cooperation with Ford. The goal of this collaboration is to understand the influence of different hydrocarbons (HC) on the lean NOx trap (LNT) and to identify possible ways to reduce the slip of this component during the rich purge.
